Why Wait Productions, created in 2012, is based out of Wisconsin and Los Angeles, California. Why Wait Productions is a film company that produces its own videos. Anything from short films, web series, comedy sketches, music videos, commercials, reviews, and documentaries. Most recently Why Wait Productions has been creating comedy short films on YouTube & TikTok. With 31 awards & nominations Why Wait Productions isn't planning on slowing down anytime soon!

Why Wait Productions started when Jahnnalee Randall tried to get acting roles in television and feature films. To be able to get those roles you need an acting agent but acting agents won't interview you without an acting reel. To create an acting reel you need footage from films you've been in. So Jahnnalee felt a little stuck. Her acting teacher, at the time, informed her to create her own material to be able to put together an acting reel to send off to agents. After she wrote, directed, and starred in her own material people watched it and told her she should submit it to film festivals. She did and she started winning awards. She realized there's no point in waiting around for an agent to take notice you need to create your own opportunities. And within that moment she realized why wait for other people so Why Wait Productions was born!

It was time to take action and stop being a talker by finally being a doer and create her own projects. The internet has opened so many doors for creators that it's time for everyone to put their own career path into their own hands! Never give up and keep trying because you never know where this world can lead you!

Originally from a farm in Wisconsin, Jahnnalee moved to Los Angeles to reach her dreams of working in the entertainment industry as an actor. While going to audition after audition and being stuck in LA traffic, Jahnnalee said no more waiting and created her own film company, Why Wait Productions, with her talented son, Gizmo the Chihuahua. Why Wait for someone else to create opportunities when you can do it yourself! So she started writing and directing films which many of them have become award-winners and viral videos! 

As an actor, Jahnnalee's resume boasts numerous pilots, independent films, award-winning short films, award-winning web series, features, television shows, music videos, commercials, talk shows, podcasts, and radio appearances. 

Jahnnalee graduated high school at the age of sixteen and went onto five different colleges to learn communications, photography, web design, multimedia, screenwriting, and filmmaking. Jahnnalee's acting training has been in Los Angeles, CA under Robert Carnegie learning the Meisner technique at Playhouse West, Improv Intensive at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), Killian's Commercial Workshop, Comedy Intensive with Lesly Kahn, Sketch Writing at UCB, Late Night TV Comedy Writing with Jerry Corley and Vocal Dialect with Carolyn Fallin to help tone down her Midwestern accent for auditions! 

Although Jahnnalee enjoys and values what she has been taught through her extensive training, her favorite method is to learn by doing. Just going out there and creating. Even if she fails at any of her endeavors, she looks at it in a positive light. She realizes that if her projects don't work, she has narrowed down the path of finding out what will work to break into the film industry!

Most recently Jahnnalee acts all the human characters (15 total) along with doing all the crew work and post-production work on comedy videos for Why Wait Productions on YouTube & TikTok!

Originally from California, Gizmo the Chihuahua is one hard-working and fancy pooch. He is the star of 2Fur1 a six-time award-winning web series and he's in every episode of Duct Tape, Why Do Movies, Pet Peeves, Dating Disasters and plays the lead in the military short film Lost in Time, which all of these projects are award-winning and created by Why Wait Productions!

Gizmo began his acting career at 12 weeks of age and has appeared in various feature films, commercials, short films, music videos, talk shows, YouTube/TikTok content, radio shows, and pawagraph signings. Gizmo is an actor in high demand and even appeared on Animal Planet as the star of Puppies and Tiaras that was created by Why Wait Productions.

with over 21 Million Views!

Gizmo's most favorite video is Explosive Birthday Party where he needs to help his Mom, Jahnnalee, escape the terrifying Giggles the Clown!

Gizmo's a true Hollywood star, that loves all the attention and couldn't be happier to be apart of Why Wait Productions.

Most recently Gizmo acts in every Why Wait Productions video and is a viral sensation. He loves walking into places because people recognize him from his acting work. He really enjoys attention and giving people kisses!

Originally from New Jersey, Starleena flew to Minneapolis at the age of 8 weeks to meet her forever family Jahnnalee & Gizmo. She had no clue she just entered a comedy trio but she wouldn't want it any other way! Born on April 4th, 2021 she is excited to learn acting from her talented big brother Gizmo. When they go out on the town together people mistake them as Mama and baby but Gizmo just tells everyone that Starleena is his mini-me or little Gizmo. They are two peas in a pod!
